How much does it cost to rent a bike in Mulki?

Bike rentals in Mulki start at ₹650 for 24 hours. Both the Honda Activa and Yamaha Fascino are available at this rate. During long weekends and holiday seasons, the price is ₹750 for 24 hours. Fuel is not included in the rental price.

Do I need a driving licence to rent a scooter in Mulki?

Yes. A valid Indian driving licence for a two-wheeler is required to rent a scooter in Mulki. If you are a foreign visitor, you will need an International Driving Permit along with your home country licence. You must carry your original licence — photocopies are not accepted.

Which bikes are available for rent at Mulki Bike Rentals?

As of now we are renting Honda Activas and Yamaha Fascinos. Both are automatic scooters, easy to ride, and well-suited for Mulki's coastal roads, beach routes, and short highway rides. They are regularly serviced and maintained.

Is fuel included in the bike rental price in Mulki?

No. Fuel is not included in the rental price. You will receive the scooter with enough fuel to reach the nearest petrol station. Refuelling during your ride is your responsibility. The nearest petrol station to our shop on NH-66, Bappanadu Road is a short ride away.

Can I ride to Sasihithlu / Padubidri / Kaup / Panambur Beach on a rented scooter from Mulki?

Yes. These beaches are the most popular rides from our shop. It is a short, easy ride from Mulki Bike Rentals and the same beaches frequented by surfers and visitors of surf clubs. Most customers ride there and back comfortably.

Are helmets provided with the rental?

Yes. Two helmets are included with every rental — one for the rider and one for your pillion — at no extra charge. Wearing a helmet is mandatory on Karnataka roads.

What documents do I need to rent a bike in Mulki?

You need your original valid two-wheeler driving licence. Foreign nationals must bring their passport and International Driving Permit. A government-issued photo ID such as an Aadhaar card or passport is also required. Photocopies and digital copies are not accepted in place of originals.
